BIO

Cedric Dodd was born and raised in Peoria, Arizona. He then moved to LA to pursue his career where he attended AMDA, LA and graduated with his BFA in Dance Theatre.

After graduation, Cedric was signed to Go 2 Talent Agency and began working both commercially and theatrically.  He has worked on TV Shows such as Physical, Mysterious Benedict Society and Brooklyn Nine-Nine as well as for products such as Neiman Marcus, Apple and Crocs. Some of his theatrical credits include Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the National Tour (Associate Director/Choreographer), Damn Yankees at Musical Theatre West (Dance Captain/Associate Choreographer) and Evita at The Rev (Associate Choreographer).

Cedric has served as a Guest Artist at USC, UCLA, OCSA and AMDA. He is a Guest Faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex (LA) and Broadway Dance Center (NY).

He worked as the Assistant Choreographer to Dominique Kelley for both Mariah Carey’s Saadiyat Nights concert in Abu Dhabi as well as Derek Hough’s “Dance for the Holidays” Live Tour.

Cedric is most well known for his work on the Broadway production of The Great Gatsby. Cedric was the Associate Choreographer for its sold out run at Papermill Playhouse. In April of 2024, he made his Broadway Debut with the production. Since then, Cedric’s title has now become Worldwide Associate Choreographer. He has helped with various companies of the production including the West End, Korea and 1st National Tour.

He is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, Actors’ Equity, AGVA and SDC. He is represented by Go 2 Talent Agency (LA) and CESD (NY).
